How to delete your GTDEasy account

You can delete your GTDEasy account and all your data at any time. Here is how.

From within the app

1. Open GTDEasy and sign in.
2. Go to More and select Admin.
3. Scroll down to the Danger zone at the bottom of the page.
4. Select Delete my account.
5. Confirm your identity with your password, or by typing your email address if you sign in with Google or with Apple.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Deleting only your data, without deleting your account

If you would rather clear your content but keep your account:

1. Open GTDEasy and sign in.
2. Go to More and select Admin.
3. Scroll down to the Danger zone.
4. Select Clear my data.
5. Review the summary of what will be removed and confirm your identity.

Before you confirm, you will see exactly which tasks, projects, contexts and integrations are going to be removed, and what happens to the organisations you belong to. Your account and email address are kept, and you can carry on using the app from scratch.

If you are the sole responsible person for an organisation

If you are the only responsible person for an organisation that has other members, the app will ask you to hand it over to someone else or close it before you delete your account. That way the team does not lose its work.

If you no longer have access to the app

Write to info@ackermannlabs.com from the email address you registered with, stating that you want your account deleted. We will verify your identity and process the request within thirty days at the latest.

What is deleted

When you delete your account, the following are removed immediately and irreversibly: your sign-in account, your tasks, your personal projects, your contexts, your comments and your connected integrations.

What is kept

Content you have handed over to an organisation, or that belongs to an organisation you are part of, remains with that organisation.

We may retain certain data in blocked form for the applicable statutory limitation periods, solely to address potential liabilities.
