GTDEasy Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 1 August 2026

Please read these terms before using GTDEasy. By creating an account you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Who provides the service

Ackermann Labs International, S.L. Tax ID: B8829853 Address: Calle Hermosilla 30, 28001 Madrid, Spain Registered with the Commercial Registry of Madrid, volume 38729, book 0, folio 53, section 8, sheet M-688615 Contact: info@ackermannlabs.com

2. What GTDEasy is

GTDEasy is an application for managing personal tasks and projects, available on the web at gtdeasy.com and through mobile applications.

The service is provided as described in the app itself at any given time. We may add, change or withdraw features to improve the product, giving you reasonable notice where a change materially affects the way you have been using it.

3. Who can use it

To create an account you must be 18 or over and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.

You need a valid email address and an internet connection. The app requires a connection to work and does not provide offline access to your content.

4. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide and for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential. Any activity carried out from your account will be attributed to you.

If you become aware of unauthorised use, tell us straight away at info@ackermannlabs.com.

You may not transfer your account to anyone else or let other people use it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use GTDEasy lawfully, in accordance with these terms and in good faith. In particular, you may not:

  • Enter content that is unlawful, defamatory, or that infringes the rights of others.
  • Use the service to harass anyone, impersonate another person, or send unsolicited communications.
  • Attempt to access other users' data, or systems and areas of the service you are not authorised to reach.
  • Reverse engineer the service, extract data at scale by automated means, or interfere with how it runs.
  • Resell or commercially exploit the service without our written permission.

6. Your content

The content you put into GTDEasy remains yours. We acquire no ownership rights over it.

You grant us only the licence strictly necessary to host, process, display and transmit that content in order to provide the service to you, including syncing it across your devices and with the people you choose to share it with. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content you have shared with or handed over to an organisation.

You are solely responsible for the content you enter and for having the right to process it.

7. Organisations and shared content

GTDEasy lets you create organisations, invite other people, and share projects and tasks.

When you share content within an organisation, people with access can see it and, depending on their role, edit it. Bear this in mind before entering confidential information.

If you are the only responsible person for an organisation that has other members, you will not be able to delete your account until you hand the organisation over to someone else or close it. This is so the rest of the team does not lose its work.

When you hand an organisation over, the projects and tasks you hold in it pass to the new responsible person and are no longer under your control.

8. Price

GTDEasy is currently free to use.

We may introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, the pricing, duration and cancellation process will be published clearly, and no paid plan will be activated without your express acceptance. Features you were already using for free will not become paid-only without reasonable advance notice.

9. Availability

We work to keep the service running continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may suspend it temporarily for maintenance, updates or technical incidents, and will give notice in advance where that is possible.

We recommend keeping your own copy of any information you consider critical.

10. Liability

We are liable for loss or damage we cause you through wilful misconduct or negligence in performing our obligations, in accordance with applicable Spanish law.

We are not liable for loss arising from use of the service contrary to these terms, from loss of content caused by you or by third parties you have authorised, or from failures in third-party services you choose to integrate.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights that consumer protection law grants you on a mandatory basis.

11. Intellectual property

The software, design, the GTDEasy brand and the other elements of the service belong to Ackermann Labs or its licensors. You are granted no rights over them beyond using the service in accordance with these terms.

Third-party trade marks mentioned in the service belong to their respective owners. In particular, "Getting Things Done" and "GTD" are registered trade marks of David Allen Company, and are mentioned solely to describe the methodology that inspired the app.

12. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from Admin, under Danger zone. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously breach these terms, if your use puts the service or other users at risk, or if a competent authority requires us to. Unless the seriousness of the breach or a legal obligation prevents it, we will notify you first and give you a chance to put things right.

If we permanently discontinue the service, we will give you at least thirty days' notice so that you can retrieve your content.

13. Business use

These terms cover the use of GTDEasy by individuals who create an account in their own name.

Use of the service by a company or organisation to manage the work of its employees requires a specific agreement to be signed beforehand, including the corresponding data processing agreement. You can request one at info@ackermannlabs.com.

14. Data protection

The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at gtdeasy.com/privacy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

15. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms for legal or technical reasons, or as the service evolves. The current version will always be published at this address, and where a change is significant we will give you at least fifteen days' notice. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before the new version takes effect.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Spanish law.

Any dispute will be heard by the courts determined under applicable law. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings before the courts where you live.

You can raise any complaint with us at info@ackermannlabs.com. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may also use the European online dispute resolution platform.

If you use the service from outside the European Union, your local consumer protection law may grant you additional mandatory rights, which these terms do not limit.
