Contexts
Where, with what or with whom a task can be done.
A context is the tool, place, situation or person you need in order to carry out an action.
A context groups the actions you can only do under those circumstances. For example, when you are at home, at your computer, running errands or talking to a specific person.
Creating and using contexts
To create your contexts, open More and create them from there. From there you can also rename or delete them at any time.
You can filter by context in Tasks and in the other lists in the app. As well as choosing the contexts you want to see, you can exclude the ones you do not want. We explain how in Organize.
GTD tip: we suggest starting with these four contexts: Calls, Computer, Home and Errands.
