Trash and account deletion

Deleted tasks land in Trash for 30 days, then they're hidden automatically. From there you can restore a task, delete it permanently, or empty the whole trash at once (with confirmation).

To delete your account entirely, go to Admin, Danger zone, and select Delete my account. You will need to confirm your identity with your password, or by typing your email if you sign in with Google or Apple. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone: your account, your tasks, your personal projects and your contexts are all removed.

If you are the only responsible person for an organisation that has other members, the app will ask you to hand it over to someone else or close it before you delete your account. That way the team does not lose its work. When you hand over an organisation, your projects and tasks in it pass to the new responsible person.
