Priorities and dates
Urgent, important, start dates and due dates.
Priorities
Instead of numeric priorities, GTDEasy uses two flags inspired by the Eisenhower matrix:
- Urgent: the task needs attention soon.
- Important: the task contributes significantly to your goals.
You can flag a task as urgent, important, both or neither.
Start date and due date
- Start date (the "Start on" field): the day from which the task appears in "Tasks". Until then it stays in "Postponed". See Postponed.
- Due date: the last day the task should be finished by.
GTD tip: due dates are only useful when they represent a real commitment. If you give everything a due date, they will stop helping you decide what is truly urgent.
